Hank Vanderpol led a group from the Central Okanagan Naturalists Club, on a week-long adventure to Saskatchewan. Our primary objective was to find the Whooping Crane on it's migration stop-over in the Saskatoon area. Other goals were to witness the Sandhill Crane roosting spectacle at Outlook and to experience the abundance of waterfowl in the Quill Lakes region.
