This is the 2006 Springtime Tallahassee Festival weekend in photos! Our own Antebellum Statehood Krewe (ASK)members, Polo and Penny Lacayo, were selected to represent Springtime Tallahassee as Andrew Jackson and his wife Rachel Jackson for 2006. This means that they travel to many out of town festivals around the state and represent Tallahassee.

The album starts a day or two before the festival weekend with us putting last minute touches on the float the paddle wheeler "Antebelle". Thursday 3/30 is the Float Gloat, then Friday 3/31 is the formal Festival Reception. Saturday 4/1 is the all day Jubilee in the Park and Festival Parade, and that night is the Crash Party. This year the theme was "Crash at the Redneck Riveria" and was a hoot! We survived. Some of us, barely! Enjoy!
