Gum Leaves
This piece is discharged black velveteen which gives a lovely soft patterning to the background that is almost misty. The leaves have been created with lutradur which have been transfer printed and foiled. Gum leaves come with all sorts of imperfections and colourings and are quintessentially Australian for me. This piece measures about 80 cm x 140 cm
