Roof Detail
I struggled with the roof design and finaly came up with this. It is a gable roof that is offset from the center line of the kitchen so it hangs over the bar seating enough to protect people from light rain. All the framing is rough cedar scallop cut to give the exposed beams some charicter. The tin roof covering on top was my wifes idea and it was salvaged from an old shed a friend had. He donated it to the project so he could get rid of it.
