Drumstick primrose is an early-bloomer sporting nearly perfectly round balls of five-petaled flowers in colors ranging from white to lilac. It ranges in height from about 8 to 18 inches. It is easy to grow from seed and likes a constantly moist, fertile soil in full sun (cool-summer climates) to partial shade.
