Stemless Primrose is often sold as an annual spring bedding plant. However, this species is a true perennial when grown in a cool-summer climate. The pictured white one came in a 4-pack from Safeway Supermarket some 7 years ago. Its companions died over the first winter but this individual has lived and prospered and increased 4-fold in size.
