Parry's Gentian is a late-bloomer. Look for it above 10,000 in wet meadows and damp woods in August. It usually grows no taller than 12 inches, but I have seen plants as tall as 16 inches with very large blossoms. Site Parry's Gentian in cool, wet soil in full sun to light shade.
