Nadia chose a very small (104 servings) and very colorful cake for her Pakistani wedding at the Marriott today. Her mom provided a pedestal for the table with beautifully colored scarves and rose petals for the table.
The cake is 'stacked,' and the icing is gold with deep red scrollwork and inset gold dragees (edible beads) on all tiers. The cake serves 104 guests, and the price is $2.50/serving, not including flowers or delivery. The flowers were red roses and were arranged by Austin Cake Lady. We arrange ALL flowers for ALL our cakes , and there is no charge for this service up to 24 stems. Our number is 258-3703...we're booking through December '07 right now, so don't wait to call--we book ESPECIALLY early because cakes are delicious and affordable. :-)
