Set of heavy duty metal shelves, 5 shop lights on chains each containing 2 standard fluorescent light bulbs, recycled or new 6 packs for starting seeds, black seed trays to hold 6 packs, power strip to plug in lights, timer to control lights, fan. These photos are from last year's seed starting.

In winter, I have stored some favorite plants in an extra bedroom. I've closed the heating vents in this room so it is a little cooler than the rest of the house -- 60 degrees. This is the second year I am trying this method. This bedroom is on the north side of the house. In spring time most of the plants are 'haggard looking' but quickly recover when cut back to start new growth.
