Hi out there in the woodworking world. I am 40 years young, live in staten island,ny, and am new to woodworking and woodcarving. I began out of boredom and the sheer nessecity of fixing things around my hundred year old house. My first project was to build a nice sturdy workbench in my basement. As I began to acquire tools, I started levitating towards woodworking tools. I soon realized how much I loved the smell and feel of wood. Then I started collecting carving tools and fell in love with small in-the-round and relief carvings. I am just beginning my journey and at this point am still an ameteur. But I'm getting better with each project I complete. I guess that's all that one can really ask for.

In the weeks and months to come I will be uploading pics of some of my completed projects. I hope that you enjoy watching my progression. Hopefully one day, I can call myself a seasoned craftsman. Your comments, encouragement and critiques are welcome. Don't be shy. Thanks for looking.
