Sheep with long wool come in many varieties. We have just three, but I think they are the best: Lincoln, Cotswold, and Wensleydale crosses. The Wensleydale adds lustre to almost anything, and is lovely to behold. We have a silver half-Wensleydale ram, his two sons, and soon will have a young white ewe to go with him.
