Mermaid lampshade I bought this small print mermaid fabric at a local quilt store a few weeks back to make a lampshade. The bottom has a trim of lime green fringe with dangly beads. I still have to find a wider grograin ribbon to add around the top of the shade, as the ribbon I had was to thin, and there wasn't enough of the beaded fringe, and I can't find anymore of that fringe.
The scallop shaped glass base of the lamp is filled with shells that I collected on the beaches of Florida.6/09
