The silk dupion curtains
Looking up the stairs from the shop towards the curtains on the half landing. These were fun to do. I frayed the hems and folded the top over to form an integral pelmet then sewed them to the curtain pole before setting them with steam and a little water. I find stiffening the silk fabric changes the colour and makes the fabric more like cardboard than silk.
