June was a month to help my Mother discover the beauty of Crocheting. Last year, her dexterity in her hands was damaged due to 2nd & 3rd degree burns. Her recovery has been slow, and she found her first love, needlepoint, to be too difficult to do. When she visited for a week this month, Crocheting became her newest love. She now claims herself to be a "Happy Hooker."

I also had fun teaching a new stitch to my aunt, and surprised my cousin with a new Graydog Hook, a "nifty knob" (not pictured).
