How To Help "A Place To Bark" Build A Shelter, Donations, Items Needed & Our Art Auction We are "A Place to Bark" In the past 4 years I have rescued, trained and placed over 200+ dogs and 90+ cats. I run the rescue soley out of my own personal income, art sales and now have been taking some donations. We have filed for our non for profit status. Most of the animals that we take in have been abandoned, abused, police confiscated or animals that would have otherwise been put to sleep, due to medical issues, training, or lack of space. Starting in "2006" we will begin planning to build a full time foster facility. This will be a 3-5 year project. Our facility will benefit animals in need that need medical care to get them healthy. Networking with Humane Societies and providing healthy adoptable animals a chance at life. Our dreams for the future are to make a difference in our community for the animals, by providing spay/nueter programs to help solve the overpopulation problem. Our goal is to develop educational programs, end the needless waste of life and promote the humane treatment of the animals.
