STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE
This big two-tier strawberry groom's cake fed 75 and who said all grooms' cakes must be chocolate??? This one was strawberry with little chips of fresh strawberries in the batter and sliced fresh strawberries over a creamy filling. The FABULOUS homemade icing is cream cheese, and it has a half pound of real butter in just the icing. Talk about mouthwatering--this one is IT! Only problem is that cream cheese is a dairy product and, therefore, must be refrigerated (see the directions on the package!) or it can make your guests sick. It must be cool so keep that in mind if you're ordering an Italian or Carrot cake for a groom's cake. The top of this one was simply decorated with the newlyweds' names and fudge drizzle embellished the sides.
