GRAPE SWIRL
This is another floating grape swirl cake for a sweet bride named Paola. Seems I make one of these every week like clockwork because they're sooo popular! Her choice of navy ribbon really sets it off nicely, and another contemporary topper hints to me that toppers are on their way back in. (We have LOTS of them at Austin Cake Lady at great prices!) This cake is a low $2/serving and it's homemade from scratch and covered with deliciously homemade buttercream icing, smoothed with our special technique before the ribbon is added. The cake is the ever-so-popular French Vanilla with a hint of lemon and almond, and it had strawberry filling. The best part of all is that the bride picked it up herself to avoid the delivery charge; however, delivery is available as always. Did you know that the Austin Cake Lady delivers and sets up all her cakes HERSELF for a small delivery fee??? No delivery men here because we take very special pride in getting your cakes delivered without a hitch! Always ask "Who's delivering it?" when you're shopping for a wedding cake! That's VERY important.
