The cross member is completely welded in with the filler panels and all ground down. We sprayed it with weld through primer to stop any rust until the rest of the fabrication is done. The weld through will come back off and everything will be cleaned and primed with epoxy primer at one time. In this series of photo's you may have noticed there is no left qtr. panel on the car and in one shot the bottom of the right one is missing. You don't have to remove thse to do this. Our car had a lot of collision damage to repair during the process but it did help with access to these areas.
