Knitting lace is considered by many to be difficult, but it really is straightforward. If you can knit and purl, make a yarn-over and know how to decrease, you have all the tools you need for lace knitting.

I've just returned to lace knitting in a big way after a long hiatus. One of my goals is to recreate a Frost Flower stole I made (from very fine acrylic yarn) when I was in high school. This time around, I'll use a laceweight wool/silk combo. Just one of the many projects yet to be started that are simmering in my brain. Lace is quite addictive, and I'm glad I've returned to the fold, so to speak.
