Of the 330 NASA Astronauts, 29 from the 20 NASA Astronaut Groups or Classes have not flown in space. A number resigned before they flew, others perished in accidents before their first flights and the 9 from NASA Group 20 have only recently completed their required 2-year astronaut training. In 2009, NASA selected nine (9) individuals in its 20th Astronaut Class to begin training as NASA Astronaut Candidates (Ascans). In September, 2011, all members completed their training and evaluation and were awarded full status as NASA Astronauts. Autographs of all 9 NASA Group 20 Astronauts are displayed here.
