Cuyamaca State Park
Atop of Stonewall Peak, one of the more popular hikes in the park. About an hour drive from downtown San Diego, the park offers over 100 miles of hiking trails. The park itself is still recovering from the 2003 cedar fire that damaged over 26,000 acres.
