Monterey Bay Aquarium
The aquarium sit on the western end of Cannery Row and is the highlight of any trip to Monterey. The aquarium takes advantage of the fact that outside in Monterey Bay is the country's largest marine sanctuary (The undersea canyon is wider and deeper than the Grand Canyon). As a result, sea water is pumped into most of the exhibits to maintain a natural setting as possible as in this kelp forrest.
