On July 15, 2005, I had knee surgery to put my kneecap back in the proper position and generally clean out the joint. In a perverse twist of luck, I had an unusual amount of bruising, enough to shock my doctor, and it has been extremely swollen. Through physical therapy, the bruise changes daily.
