My sauna: I cut 7 cord of cedar trees in total. Many trees come from about 2 miles near the cabin. I ended up taking the logs to 2 different sawmills just to speed the process up. The finished product is 5"x"5 rough timbers. Building is 9'x 17' outside. Each room is approx 8'-2" square inside. Sauna - Wood fired from the outside. Heated concrete floor w/Wirsbro "Pex" in-floor heating system 1' square pieces Grey moon cloud ceramic tile floor top.. Granite; Floor threshold between hot and cool room. Granite on all window sills inside and outside. Granite colors: Galaxy Black, Cafe Bahia, Dark Dakota Mahogany. Soon to come, Granite vanity with sunken sink to put a cover on. [if you wanted to play a game of cards.] Removing the patio deck, removing 6" of gravel then I have a pallet of red chevron lockstone to lay down. Steel roof - Deep Red Americana pattern. The changeroom will double as a little gazebo when colder weather comes. Should be able to fit 4~6 people no problem with the vanity doubling as a table for cards/beer.
