JUDGES' IMELDA
One of Saturday's many brides Imelda chose a simple but beautiful cake with light ivory homemade buttercream frosting to complement her beautiful gold dress. The top border was a double E-motion border which makes the cake elegant and beautiful. The reception was at the Mansion on Judges' Hill--nice but not among my favorites. There is a single row of "Riverplace Scroll" around each tier, as well as lovely pink satin ribbon. The cake is only $2.50/serving (not including flowers or delivery) and serves 136 guests. Flowers were provided by Caroleanne at Purple Iris Florist and arranged by Austin Cake Lady. The flowers included beautiful pale pink and hot pink roses, yellow freesia, baby pink mini roses and hypericum berries.(Closeup in the FLORAL TOPPERS album below) The cake was one of the crowdpleasers--Mexican Vanilla Cake with a hint of lemon and almond, and it has Bavarian Cream filling. The cake is "floated" so close that it looks stacked but is MUCH easier to serve, deliver, and keep the top tier. We offer complimentary tastings on Mondays for two(2) maximum by appointment if we still have your date available. Please call us anytime at 512-258-3703 or leave a message if we're away from the phone. We'd love to talk with you about your cake!
