Signed items from the Skylab programme which flew three long duration manned missions during 1973 and 1974.

Over a nine month period three different 3-man crews lived aboard Skylab for one, two then three months. The nine astronauts clocked up a total of 513 man days in orbit. They carried out thousands of observations and experiments in areas such as solar astronomy, life sciences, Earth observations, astrophysics, materials science and many others. Five years after the last crew had departed the empty Skylab station re-entered the Earth's atmosphere and burned up on 11th July 1979.
