About me
Hi, and I hope your enjoying my photos. I live in a small town in Southern Colorado with my husband John, who is a wonderful supporter and continually encourages me. The children are grown and on their own, so we spoil the other kids, 2 Appaloosa horses, Dancer and C.C., and of course the dogs Megan and Molly. I grew up in N. Illinois, in a large family of 7 kids. Mom always involved us in crafts, or as we knew it "creating something homemade". Not all of us enjoyed it, but for me it created a special bond between my Mom and myself, and for that alone, I will always cherish those moments we spent together. Through the years I've always done a wide variety of crafts, from cross-stitch, needlepoint, crochet, Artex, and decorative painting. I have always longed for a way to express my creativity, and have found this fulfillment comes from decorative painting and creating things for others to enjoy.
