Here are some photos from the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, taken on Sunday, May 8. I'm especially proud to see my knitting guild friends do so well with their entries and the sheep to shawl contest, too. Take a look and have a glimpse of the fun!

For those who may not be familiar with this show, the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival is the largest of its kind in the US. People come from all over North America to attend the festival, and I've even heard of people coming in from Europe and Australia as well. In the handwork competitions, entries arrive from all over the US--didn't see any from outside the US this time. The vendors are almost endless, the sheep breeds are all represented, and there is something for everyone.
