THE TRAGEDY OF KING RICHARD II
THE TRAGEDY OF KING RICHARD II by William Shakespeare is a 1/12th scale miniature book. It is a complete copy of the play containing 110 pages. The pages are printed on both sides of single sheets. This volume is 31/32” high by 25/32” wide and 5/16” thick. It is constructed using traditional bookbinding techniques and other techniques I have developed for miniature books. The pages are printed on parchment like paper for an aged look. The cover is printed on high quality cotton bond paper. The cover design is a copy of a piece of antique Moroccan leather. The spine is printed with the title so the volume will look well on a bookshelf in your dollhouse library. According to my research, THE TRAGEDY OF KING RICHARD II was written in approximately 1595 and was first performed in the same year.
