January, Crunching the last minute Gifts

January seemed to be a time for being in a "crunch." First, I created a Hat, Scarf and Mitten set for my daughter (top left). Next, my son requested the same thing, only he wanted his to be black and red, like his coat. Then my Great Aunt declaired that she liked my daughters set so much that I crocheted a set just in time for her birthday! Good thing the "Crunch" stitch works up as quickly as it is beautiful! :) --------------Sampler Crunch---------- Stitch Block: Ch 25 loosely. Row 1: Slip st loosely in third ch from hook, (hdc in next ch, slip st loosely in next ch) across. Row 2: Ch 2, turn; skip first slip sc, (slip sc loosely in next hdc, hdc in next slip st) across to last st, slip st loosely in top of turning ch. Repeat Row 2 until size desired. Finish off.
