Sophie After Surgery
She went in Friday 4/1/05 to have her paralyzed right front leg amputated. We were able to pick her up and take her home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.!!! I thought she'd be in the hospital for longer than that with a limb amputation! I couldn't believe it, she was walking and acting so normal ... walking better than she did with her injured leg! What a Canine Trooper! Here's a picture of us in the visiting room right before we took her home. We decided to have her amputated leg cremated, and we will be putting it with Max's ashes.
