Regarding your RER HPV27 secondary you will not need circlip pliers. There are two 1/2 moon clips to remove once the helix is compressed down about 1/8".[3mm]
Once the clips are removed, start backing off on the nut to let the helix come out of the secondary.
Watch when you pull the spring out there is a small white cup with a white washer in it.
MAke sure that if the washer falls out install the washer the same way it come out.
When installing the helix, make sure you don't push the helix down more than 3/16"[4mm] past the clip groove.
