Archetypes are images, bundles of energies, that are present in the human mind, in all societies through the ages. I call them "teaching tools of the Universal Mind" - because they contain an accumulated knowledge about our humanity that is somehow transmitted from generation to generation. I have started digging in my own treasure chest a long time ago, and truth is, I´m still stunned by the beauty of these images. As an artist, of course, the rendering of these archetypal energies is entirely my own; the universal images are being filtered through my own particular sensibility. In a way, through my art, my images co-exist with much older archetypal energies, and that is a fascinating thought for me, this idea that I could somehow be an influence on the Collective Unconscious, through the existence of these images, that have been born in the very fleeting moment of this very tiny local life that I am living.
