I didn't find out about the $5/5 and $5 coupon until Thursday of the sale week so I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to do the deal. I did manage to completely clean out the two stores in town by Saturday night though. I ended up with a total of 90 bottles of kids Suave items. I had emptied the shelves of the shampoo so I decided to try the kids body wash to see if it would work. It was on sale for 3/$5 and I had $1/1 any Suave body wash coupons so I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try. Boy was I excited to see that $5 coupon print out at the end!! Now I was on a mission to get all of the body wash I could. I had lots of $1 coupons and ended up running out of bottles before I ran out of coupons. And as a bonus, because of the coupons, I had an overage with each 5 bottles of around $1.50 so I was able to get some free adult body wash with each transaction as well. I was sad to see this sale end, but now I'm using my $.60/1 shampoo coupons on the $1.79 regular price which still makes them only $.19 each after the $5 coupon. You can't beat that with a stick! Considering we don't get many deals around here I think I've done very well the last couple of weeks. I only wish we had an Albertson's around here so I could have taken advantage of those great deals. I suppose I should be happy with my stash for the time being.
