Thank you CVS
Yes I know I am a little behind, but Im sure everyone remembers hearing about the great deals we were getting in the South from CVS. You know, the Grand Re-Opening of the Florida Eckerds being bought out by CVS? Well I hit it big on this sale. The coupons that were available were $10/$20, a CVS brand product up to $3 and any greeting card up to $2. So right there you already have $15 worth of coupons and you only need to spend $20. Of course the other $5 I spent was always on items I had other coupons for. This all racked up quite a bit of free stuff! Pepsi products were on sale and I dont buy very much pop due to the price. My husband loves it, but I just cant see spending all that money on something that we dont really need anyways. So, I decided he would get a nice treat! Lots and lots of 12 packs, of course it did help that there were all of those $5 rebates available and you were allowed to do 3 per household! Heck, I even treated my daughter to a couple of 12 packs of Sierra Mist and Sprite. I was able to track my spending on each order so that I never paid more than about a quarter. I didnt even pay that much most of the time since I had a gift card that I had gotten with a transferred prescription. All in all I ended up with 65 12 packs of soda, about 40 greeting cards, and bundles and bundles of CVS products.
Of course you know that this didnt all come off without a hitch! We couponers never get lucky enough to have customer service representatives who are nice 10% of the time. I have three CVS stores in my local area so I learned to shop at the friendly location. The closest store to me was, and always has been great to me. They never give me any problems with my coupons and always love watching my total drop as they scan each and every coupon without a single doubt in their mind. The store manager has been known to even point out coupons and save some for me. Just the other day she came to me with a great big stack of $2/$10 and said, Are these good coupons? Can you use them? Of course I can use them, I can always use them. She also gave me another $10/$20 that came in the recent home mailer. I have yet to receive one at home, but you better believe I am stalking the mailbox like a hawk looking for the next big deal!
