Just wanted to thank you for the e-mails alerting me (and everyone else) to do the Albertson's deal. It turns out that yesterday morning I tried the offer in our local store in Orcutt, CA and did the deal 4 times (with cash at $5.39 a pop). I was completely happy to pay, out of pocket, $21.56 to get $40.00 worth of coupons plus 20 boxes of Band Aids to keep for our household and freebees for friends/family. I then received another e-mail stating that you could use the Catalina coupon to "pay" for another 'round' so I wouldn't need much out of pocket to keep doing the deals over and over. Last night I tried the other Albertson's in the area, and tried to do the deal using the Catalina coupon as payment (at least the first $10...) It WORKED! Yippee. To sum it up, after going to 4 local Albertson's in the area, I was able to obtain the attached list for $51.51 out of pocket and I still have $40 worth of Catalina Coupons good on anything left! After looking at the list (I may have forgotten something...) I was quite impressed. I'm sure if I would have spent a bit more time calculating I would have gotten everything free but this news alert was a blessing. I added my receipts and the total saved on these receipts was $736.51! Being a single parent whose income has been cut by one-third in the last year this good deal helped us so much financially. Not to mention the 'rush' of a good deal will have my adrenilen rushing for days! LOL Also, Jacob, whom works at the Albertson's in Santa Maria as a manager, who is dubbed by the clerks as the coupon king, not only let me do this offer without himming and hawing, he congraduated me for doing it and getting a trunk load of items for mire dollars. He was great and was last seen by me, taking his break, wheeling his cart in the direction of the band aids! I will be donating the bandaids to local homeless and women's shelters. Not to mention I'll be giving my family their stocking stuffers early this year :) Some of the Johnson and Johnson products I received will be given in a care-basket to a co-worker whom is moving to Arizona to be with her daughter for the birth of her first grandchild. THANK YOU again to whomever first discovered this deal and everyone else afterward, because of you all we'll be eating well for weeks!
