Lucille Gruppo was commissioned to create a Signature Doll for the international magazine "Soft Dolls and Animals". At 18", "Danny" appears in the Dec.'04/Jan.'05 issue complete with a pattern for "Danny", his hooded, fleece, winter romper and booties.

This special doll is designed to sit on his own without being propped. My original design includes soft folds in the arms and legs. Yarn hair is hand-sewn to the head. Four different mediums are used to paint the face on "Danny".
