Here is my first serious attempt of growing gourds down here at Wangi Wangi N.S.W. I built the trestle from several old wire bed bases, supported them with iron fence pickets and added wire for climbing all of which I picked up from the tip for next to nothing.

I plan to grow some strawberries and vegies under the trestle as the bees are buzzing around in their droves. The soil is perfect, but I did add some 'moo poo' fertiliser for an extra 'boost'.
