*WHAT is an "altered book"? Well, it is sometimes described something like this : "You take any old book... and you change it. End of story." :-) *WHY do "altered books"? For fun. To tap and develop one´s creativity. To tell oneself a story. To explore one´s creative possibilities. To stretch, to make, to play, to pass the time, anything goes. Every artist has a different story, a different motivation, a different angle, and a different technique. *HOW to do an altered book? Easy, anything goes. Glue, punch, paint, stamp, have fun. There is only one rule : ...NO RULE! Be brave...Just do it! Be creative, jump over your limitations!... It is SO fun to make your books your very own, transforming the boring mediocrity into a sizzling piece of personal art!...

Since I started with Altered Books a year back now, I have touched other fun branches of Altered Art, like altering hats, altering handbags, etc. So this Archive is full of different things I did (2005-2006). I have also made a few Art dolls, and hundreds of Artist Trading Cards! (see the Album)
