Abraham Vandal, Revolutionary Soldier
Abraham stated he was born Oct. 18, 1758 in his pension application, but there are other records that indicate this was incorrect. It was not uncommon in that time for people to not know their exact birthdates. Other records show his birth was on September 27, 1758, and his baptism was on Oct. 1, 1758, in Albany Reformed Dutch Church of Albany, New York.
