Tanya, I was just remembering a tip for decorating candles as gifts by adding pierced earrings (esp if you have some that don't have mates.)

Wow! Hard to choose, but would go with the one on the right for the satiny sheen. Are you going to add fabric for train and veil? I agree with some others about painting the jewelry to stand out. What would these dresses look like as prom dresses, I wonder?

I like them both ways, either will look great once they are done.

They are both nice but I like the one on the right. It looks like satin. It could be displayed in a shop window.

I like the one on the right. I don't think the necklace should be painted brighter - it might detract or take the eye away from the dress. I like the black color for the mannaquin (sp?)

I agree with the others - the one on the left is much nicer, and you really should paint the necklace so it stands out. I'll have to check my local Dollar Store and see if I can find some of these.

I like the one with the sheen because it makes it look like a satin gown. Maybe you can paint the necklace so it can stand out. One can go in a brides bedroom and one can go in a shop or something like that.
It can also be a wedding dress if you add a train to it.

I think I prefer the painted one, but with embellishments such as silk ribbons/tiny jewels They may both be equally nice. What a clever girl you are. .
