This is a modern adaptation of the classical Kaleidoscope remembered from childhood, in which the image is formed by viewing coloured elements which tumble in a chamber.

From this deceptively simple arrangement, a limitless range of images can be generated. No single image can ever be recreated exactly, once lost by moving the wheel and tumbling the pieces.
