Backpacking Trip in Sequoia National Park 2004

My friend, Chad Morgan, and I backpacked through the southern area of Sequoia National Park in an area known as Mineral King. We inhaled the thin air, saw big trees, and were ready to flee any and all bears.

"The trees with rosy, glowing countenances seemed to be hushed and thoughtful, as if waiting in conscious religious dependence on the sun, and one naturally walked softly and awestricken among them." -John Muir on the sequoia tree
