'Needle' lot of lovin'...

Sewing has been a lifelong passion. My mother taught me to sew when I was nine. When I became a teen, my dad made me an offer I couldn't refuse - he would buy the fabric and patterns if I would make my own clothes. Well, I got the better end of that deal! I had new outfits all the time, and loved making them. I made my Rainbow Girls installation gown, wedding gown, and dozens of outfits for my daughters and nieces. I made jackets for my brother, craft items for our annual Christmas bazaar - you name it.

Sewing has been my "therapy" during rough times, and helped fulfill my joy in giving. I will keep sewing until I can no longer see to thread the needle! It's a shame that I can't share with you some of my favorites, but who had even thought up the idea of internet way back then? LOL To see a larger view of any photo, click on thumbnail pic at left.
