During the 80's, most of my energy went into teaching piano, both privately and in group situations at different schools. I did some painting, mainly flowers in soft pastel colors and always in oils, using pale blues and pinks with a lot of white. I was still unfamiliar with the arts scene in the suburbs. In retrospect, meeting other artists should have been one of my goals. A visit to Goa in 1988 with the family inspired 2 paintings.
