MARIE'S DESIGN
One of today's brides, Marie designed her cake to match her wedding colors. Each tier has brown ribbon (brown ribbon always looks a little darker when it's wet on a cake!) The top tier is embellished with single chocolate dots, the middle tier has the "Hannah Scroll" and the bottom tier is "Lazy Lace" done in chocolate. This cake was a Vanilla cake with a variety of fillings and has yummy smoothed ivory buttercream frosting! The cake sells for $2.50/serving and serves 134 guests. They opted to pick the cake up since we don't deliver to Lockhart. Pickup cakes come in three boxes on non-skid mats. They even have little arrows pointing to the front of each tier so you can just line them up. Included is a bag of extra icing in case of a little 'oopsie,' and flowers are great for that as well. It saves megabucks on delivery charges regardless who your cake artist is. It takes about 2 minutes for us to teach you how to stack a cake, and everyone says, "Ohhh EVEN I can do that!" It's that simple! I'm truly not trying to talk you into pickup on bigger cakes, but I do want you all to know that it is an option if you're on a budget! Our number is 512-258-3703.
