JERRE'S OFFSET
For Jerre' and Lindsay's wedding at Colo Vista Country Club yesterday, another beautiful offset square was designed for them. The "Bride's Design" has a combination of scrollwork with Cornelli lace on opposite sides of the cake. (See the "Celadon" cake in this or the next album for more details and a smaller version of the "offset" cake.) The full-size version shown here serves 168 if you're not keeping your top tier, and our standard cake sells for $2.25/serving. They special ordered a red velvet cake which is a little bit pricier at $3/serving. It has cream cheese filling and frosting which does have to be refrigerated so it won't make your guests ill (sez the gov!--cream cheese is a dairy product!) The flowers were chosen by me--two dozen beautiful red roses, a dozen mini red roses, a dozen green Lisianthus, some red hypericum berries and a few big white spider mums with light green centers (I adore spider mums because their texture really shows off the cake well in photos!)
