After adding the accents beads I may add additional accessories like, wings, wands, a crown, etc. Once I have added my accent beads and accessories I'm done. When you decide your doll is done is up to you. On most of my dolls, I stitch the front only and sew on a signed fabric tag to the back of my ART DOLL. *******TIPs******** 1.) When you need to change directions in your beading, take a small stitch under the beading to go in a different direction. 2.) Learn the "Rip it" stitch....any stitched on beads can be removed if you decide you don't like them. 3.) If you STAB yourself with the needle, TAKE A BREAK until you stop bleeding LOL 4.) HAVE FUN....Beaded dolls can be a FUN and relaxing addiction! 5.) When you are done you must say...."Atlast Atlast, you are done, come to life my little one" (after this point DO NOT poke it with the needle anymore) 6.) Give your new friend a name.

I love you tutorial. I just made my first beaded doll (by your definition, perhaps heavily embellished) and wondered how others got such perfect filled-in surfaces. Now I get it.
