For her Saturday wedding reception at the beautiful Stephen F. Austin Intercontinental (one of my personal favorite Austin venues!), our very special bride Noelle wanted 'something different'for her cake--something simple but elegant. She chose chocolate brown velvet ribbon for an ivory cake with a velvet bow and two red roses on top. The cake is "stacked" with pearl dot borders around the bottom tier and with velvet ribbon surrounding each tier. The silver plateau is routinely provided by Stephen F. Austin. The design on all tiers is the simple but elegant "Swiss Dots," and the frosting is our absolutely scrumptious homemade buttercream. It tastes soooo much better than rolled fondant, and the price is great at only $2.50/serving for a cake to feed 181. Delivery price depends on location.
