Nottinghill Coill's Baronial Birthday and Investiture The day was absolutely beautiful, though the night had been chilly. The sky was that particular color of a Carolina spring morning. Friends from all over the kingdom assembled for the occasion of the divestiture of Janos and Rachel, and the Investiture of William and Julian as Nottinghill Coill's new baron and baroness. Also assembled were those who had come to show support for Countess Bera, as she became the newest member of the Order of the Laurel. My friends and I were there, as we love Bera dearly and wanted to make sure we were there for this wondrous occasion! It was a lot of work over two weeks, trying to get everything coordinated and made for the ceremony and vigil, but it was well worth it, as we were involved in our friend getting the highest award she can receive for her fabulous tablet weaving. Thank you, to all those involved, for making this day truly special for Bera. And thank you to Nottinghill Coill, for hosting such a wonderful event and making the day so special. |
